Payments & refunds
This page describes the active Matchup Spot payment model.
A payment buys only the specified promotional challenger placement in a daily category matchup. It does not buy votes or guarantee a victory, traffic, clicks, downloads, customers, reviews, rankings, revenue, or another performance result.
A purchaser may check out as a guest or signed-in customer, must provide a contact email, and must be an authorized product promoter. Eligible products may include apps, websites, SaaS products, AI tools, and accepted products. Available positions use published posted prices; there is no bidding.
Starting checkout places a two-minute hold. The payment provider approves payment before App Championship captures it before the displayed deadline or final-reconciliation cutoff. A completed placement is final and non-refundable except where App Championship fails to deliver the stated service; then a replacement placement or refund may be provided.
Voting and Voter App of the Day are separate from purchases. No purchase or Matchup Spot activity creates drawing entries or improves odds. The Voter App feature has no cash-redemption value.
